Will proved in the Archdeaconry of Sudbury -- John Disse of Little Saxham 1620-1623 (Harrold 72) Will of John Disse Little Saxham 1620 May 3rd. 1 In the name of God amen the third daie of Maie 2 in the yere of o[ur]e Lord god One thousand sixe hundreth and twentieth 3 I John Disse of Little Saxham in the countie of Suff[olk] 4 husbandma[n] being sicke in bodie yet of good and perfect 5 minde and Remembrance thankes be to god therefore doo 6 make this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme 7 following and first of all I yeld up my soule in to the handes 8 of almightie god hopeing (a word crossed out) to be saved onlie by the 9 meritts of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and my bodie to 10 be buried in Christian buriall Item I give unto either of 11 my brother Robert Disse his Children fiftie three Shillinges 12 and seven pence to be paid th[a]t same ------ monthe that I am buried ----- 13 and ----- ----- Item I give unto John Long of Thetford 14 Warrener my kinsman fortie Shillinges Item I give unto 15 Charlotte Disse my kinswoman dwelling at Barrow tenne 16 Shillinges Item I give unto William Matchin the Sonne 17 of Thomas Matchim of litle Saxham eight Shillinges 18 Item I give unto Don?
